So, Mono brought Six into the signal tower and used his powers or the fact that time worked weirdly in the tower to for Six to grow up alone just like he did, becoming a deformed monster aswell. Either he rewinded time to get revenge on Six or the Signal Tower's time weirdness caused him to be brought back to when he was a kid and when he freed the Thin Man (himself) from the TV.

It's possible that after Mono fell into the signal tower he was trapped there by it, forced to grow up alone and angry at the girl that he felt betrayed him. Or maybe Thin Man can't reverse time but the signal tower can or in the universe of the signal tower time works differently.

It's entirely possible that Thin Man's time powers go beyond just slowing down or stopping time, his powers are based on a TV which can rewind. So, the Thin Man definitely has some time manipulating powers, he's able to to slow down anyone near him and his teleportation could just be home freezing time to get closer but to us it's teleportation. Six might've saw Mono as a threat to her life and dropped him. We don't know why Six dropped Mono but it was probably to save her own life, thinking the Signal Tower would keep coming after Mono since he seemed linked with it in some way. More proof is that the secret ending heavily hints that Six's next stop is the Maw which I see no reason for Six to go back to since it would be out of Service after the Lady's death and the death of tons of Guests. More proof this game is a prequel is that it shows the creation of Shadow Six, just like the Shadow Children, Shadow Six is the remnant of Six after she was grabbed into the TV by the Thin Man after Mono accidentally freed him. I think Little Nightmares 2 is a prequel explaining why Six doesn't have her raincoat until later and explaining why she has no hunger throughout the game until the secret ending. They both become two very powerful people in this world, Mono most likely being the root of everything because of the eyes everywhere, linking to the eye dimension, So, if we were to think about it that way, then everything is six’s fault, if she had took him with her, he would not have become the thin man and gone through the whole process of controlling the tower and what not.Hopefully they create a dlc or some type of alternate ending because this one really had me heartbroken, after all we went through together, she just betrays us like that, but I don’t think she did that without a reason After the ending of the first game she just goes through the door, but what if she actually doesn’t escape, what if she takes the place as the new lady and grows up, causing the cycle to repeat itself, just as it did with mono. Notice how they both had nightmares about each of them, and mono ended up being the thin man, so six could have ended up becoming the lady.

If this is in fact a time loop, my theory is that Mono is the thin man, while six is the lady from the first game.
